Introduction

The tropical evergreen forest is basically the same thing as a tropical rainforest, it receives more then 200 cm of rainfall and has a temperature of 15 to 30 degrees Celsius. the evergreen forest occupies about 7% of the Earth's land surface and harbors half the worlds plants and animals. It has a hot and humid climate and lush green vegetation due to it being located by the equator and not having a period of drought. The evergreen forest contains some coastal swamps, a few deltas, hills, rivers, waterfalls, caves, caverns and many other landscapes.
